Sermorelin

A nightly GHRH analog that supports the body's own pulsatile growth-hormone release — for the kind of sleep, recovery, and lean mass that age tends to dim.

What it is

Working with your biology, not around it.

Sermorelin is a synthetic analog of the first 29 amino acids of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) — the molecule your hypothalamus uses to tell your pituitary, gently and rhythmically, to release growth hormone. Unlike exogenous HGH, which floods the system from the outside, sermorelin works upstream and preserves the body's natural pulsatile rhythm.

Because it operates within your own feedback loops, the experience is gradual rather than dramatic. Members typically describe a deepening of sleep within the first two to four weeks, easier recovery from training, slow improvements in body composition, and a general sense of restoration — not transformation.

The protocol is a small subcutaneous injection taken nightly, ideally 30–60 minutes before sleep on an empty stomach (food, particularly carbohydrates near bedtime, blunts the GH pulse). Your clinician begins at a conservative dose and adjusts based on response, sleep tracking, and labs where appropriate.

Compounded sermorelin is dispensed only by accredited 503A or 503B U.S. pharmacies under your clinician's order, with each batch tested for potency, sterility, pH, and endotoxins.

Week by week

What to expect, in real time.

Every member's curve is a little different. The shape below is the typical clinician-guided arc.

1

Week 1 · Starting dose

You begin nightly dosing at the lowest effective range. The most common early signal is deeper sleep within seven to ten days.

2

Week 4 · Titration

Your clinician reviews sleep, recovery, and tolerance. Dose may be adjusted modestly based on response.

3

Week 12 · Re-evaluation

First formal check-in: subjective markers (sleep, recovery, body composition) and labs if applicable.

4

Week 24+ · Maintenance

Steady-state dosing. Most members continue indefinitely or cycle on and off in seasons your clinician helps design.

Who it's appropriate for

Honest eligibility — before you ever pay.

Sermorelin isn't for everyone, and we don't pretend otherwise. Your clinician will confirm fit during your eligibility review.

A good fit for

  • Adults experiencing age-related changes in sleep, recovery, or lean mass.
  • Members who prefer a protocol that works with native biology.
  • People comfortable with a small nightly subcutaneous injection.
  • Anyone pairing it with strength training and sleep optimization.

Not appropriate for

  • People with active malignancy or recent cancer history.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
  • Active hypothyroidism or untreated pituitary disease — needs clearance first.
  • Anyone using exogenous HGH or somatropin concurrently.
Common effects · what we do about them

What can happen — and how your clinician helps.

Common

Injection-site reaction

Mild redness, warmth, or itch at the site is uncommon and self-resolving. Rotate sites and warm the dose to room temperature.

Mild

Vivid dreams

Many members report more vivid dreams in the first month, which usually settles. It often correlates with deeper sleep architecture.

Mild

Flushing

A brief warm or flushed feeling shortly after injection is reported occasionally and resolves within minutes.

Rare

Headache

Mild and transient. If persistent, dose timing or amount can be adjusted. Hydration helps.

Sermorelin FAQ

Treatment-specific questions.

How is sermorelin different from HGH?
HGH (somatropin) introduces growth hormone directly from the outside, which can override the body's own feedback regulation. Sermorelin works upstream — it tells your pituitary to release its own GH in the natural pulsatile pattern. It's a gentler, slower, more physiologic protocol.
How quickly will I notice anything?
Sleep depth is usually the first signal, often within ten to fourteen days. Recovery and body-composition shifts take longer — typically weeks four through twelve.
Why do I take it before bed?
Your largest natural GH pulse happens during deep sleep. Dosing 30–60 minutes before bed amplifies that pulse rather than fighting it. Eating right before — especially carbs — blunts the response, so we recommend an empty stomach.
Do I have to inject myself?
Yes — sermorelin is a small subcutaneous injection, usually into the abdomen. The needle is very fine and most members find it painless after the first dose. Your member dashboard includes a video walk-through.
Can I cycle on and off?
Yes. Many members run continuous protocols; others cycle in seasonal blocks (e.g., five days on, two off, or twelve weeks on, four off). Your clinician will design a rhythm that fits your goals.
Will it raise IGF-1 too high?
Because sermorelin works through the body's own feedback loops, IGF-1 typically rises into a healthy physiologic range rather than super-physiologic levels. Your clinician monitors labs when appropriate.
