How it works

From "I should look into this" to your first dose — in days.

Most members move from intake to a labeled, lab-verified shipment in under a week. Here's exactly what happens at each step, what we ask of you, and what arrives in return.

1

Tell us about you.

You begin with a guided clinical intake — about twelve minutes, saved as you go. It covers your goals, weight history, family history, current medications, recent labs (if you have them; we can also order new ones), and the things a thoughtful clinician would actually want to know in a sixty-minute first visit.

The intake is structured so a licensed clinician can read it the way they'd read a chart, not the way they'd skim a form. Nothing is filler. Nothing is gated behind a payment wall. You will not be charged for the eligibility review.

If you're already a member of another platform, you can upload prior records. If you'd rather start fresh, that's fine too — your clinician will tell you what additional labs (if any) they want before they prescribe.

2

Meet your clinician.

A U.S. licensed clinician — assigned to you, not pulled from a queue — reviews everything you submitted. The median review time is under twenty-four hours. They'll either recommend a protocol with a clear rationale, ask for additional information, or tell you honestly that MyPromise isn't the right fit for what you're trying to do.

If a synchronous video visit is helpful (it sometimes is, especially for hormone work), you'll be offered times your clinician has actually held open — not a phone tree. Most members never need a video visit; the asynchronous review is rigorous on its own.

You'll see your clinician's name, credentials, and short bio in your dashboard from day one. They are the same person you'll message six months from now when you want to titrate your dose.

3

Receive your protocol.

Once you accept the recommendation, your prescription is routed to one of our 503A or 503B accredited compounding pharmacy partners. The pharmacy compounds, tests, and labels your medication under USP <797> standards — and ships it to you in temperature-controlled packaging.

You'll receive a tracking number, a delivery window, and the certificate of analysis for your specific batch in your dashboard. The lab certificate isn't on request — it's there when you log in. If anything's missing or off, your member care team flags it before the package leaves the pharmacy.

Most U.S. addresses receive their first shipment within two to five business days of clinician approval. Refills auto-time to your dosing so you're never rationing a vial in the back of your fridge.

4

Stay supported.

This is the part most platforms forget. Every MyPromise member can message their clinician directly through the dashboard — about side effects, dose adjustments, lab interpretations, or whether that thing happening at week three is normal. Most replies arrive within a business day, in writing.

Your dashboard logs how you feel, your weight if you're sharing it, and any side effects you note. Those signals quietly inform titration conversations with your clinician — so the dose evolves with you instead of against you. Pause, change dose, or skip a refill in one tap.

Membership renewal is monthly and doesn't lock you in. If you're done — for any reason or no reason — you cancel from your phone. We'd rather earn next month than trap you in this one.

Common timing questions

What people want to know about pacing.

How long does the intake actually take?
About twelve minutes. It saves as you go, so if you have to step away to grab a prior lab result or a prescription bottle, you can come back without losing anything.
How fast will my clinician review my intake?
The median review time is under twenty-four hours. Some intakes — particularly those that need additional labs or a clarifying question — take a little longer. Either way, you'll hear back in writing rather than waiting for a phone call.
When does my first shipment actually arrive?
For most U.S. addresses, two to five business days after clinician approval. Cold-chain protocols ship in insulated packaging with a phase-change cooling pack and tracked delivery. Your dashboard shows the shipment status in real time.
What happens if I want to pause?
You pause from your dashboard in one tap — no calls, no win-back interrogations, no "are you sure" loop. Your protocol resumes when you say it does. We'd rather earn the next month than trap you in this one.
Ready when you are

A promise is just a plan with a witness.

Take the twelve-minute eligibility review. A licensed clinician will read your intake, recommend a protocol — or tell you honestly that we're not the right fit. Either way, you'll know within a day.
